On arrival, guests walked through an entrance passage filled with greenery and retro music videos. The party started there, with music already on screen before anyone entered the main room. We gave this space just as much attention as the places where guests would spend longer. Outside, we created room to eat or take a smoking break.
Inside, a large stage and custom-made objects set the scene. A microphone, guitar, boombox or smiley appeared above the dance floor during different parts of the evening, each linked to the musical genre. These changes made the decor an active part of the programme. The VJ matched the visuals to the soundtrack, allowing sound and projections to shift together.
At the bar, cocktail names picked up on the different genres. Streetfood Architect served the food through a snackwall, keeping things informal and in line with the atmosphere ETION had in mind.
We projected the ETION logo onto the chimney, making the building itself part of the event. Architecture and decor worked together to give the party its own identity. But the standout move happened above the dance floor: one room, a changing scene throughout the night.
